Rebecca Stephens

Over the past 12 months, Rebecca Stephens has guided Southern Districts Basketball through a major period of change and growth. As General Manager, Rebecca has led the implementation of the association’s 2024–2026 Strategic Plan, driving improvements across operations, facilities, programs, and community engagement. Her leadership has delivered new initiatives such as a Neurodiverse Program for junior players, expansion of the Spartans’ National Wheelchair Basketball Program, and growth across QSL, Youth League, and NBL1 teams. Rebecca also secured multiple government grants for major venue upgrades and is working closely with council partners on plans for a second stadium to support the association’s growing membership. Widely respected for her professionalism and vision, Rebecca’s commitment has strengthened both Southern Districts and the wider Queensland basketball community.
