Rocco Zikarsky

Your 2022 Male Player of the Year is Rocco Zikarsky. Rocco was a part of the core group of Queensland players which claimed back-to-back Gold medals at National Championships in 2021 and 2022.

Playing a major role in Queensland South’s dominance at the 2022 under-18 Australian Junior Championships, Rocco then went on to represent Australia at the FIBA Asian Championships where he earned ‘All Star Five’ honours and took home a Gold Medal with the Australian Crocodiles. The team later finished sixth at the under-17 FIBA World Cup in Spain.

Rocco has continued to grow as an elite athlete on and off the court and has been touted ‘the next Australian big man’ for his age group. Due to his success this year, Rocco is a worthy recipient of the 2022 Male Player of the Year Award.
