Anthony Petrie

Your 2023 Male Coach of the Year is Anthony Petrie. Anthony has made an indelible mark on the Gold Coast Basketball community since his retirement as a professional player. In 2022, he led the Gold Coast Rollers to their first senior NBL1 North Men’s championship in more than 30 years. ‘Peach’ has been instrumental in mentoring and assisting coaches at club level and is credited for building one of the strongest basketball programs in Queensland at The Southport School. Anthony is a great role model and leader in our community, which makes him a worthy recipient of the 2023 Male Coach of the Year.
