NBL26 Season Tips Off with Strong Queensland Representation

The Hungry Jack’s NBL26 season has officially begun, and Queensland talent is making its mark across the league. With 19 Queensland juniors set to hit the floor and a number of coaches leading from the sidelines, there’s plenty for local fans to cheer about this year.
Nineteen players who came through Queensland’s junior pathways will feature across multiple clubs in 2025/26. From seasoned veterans to rising stars, their presence highlights the strength of the state’s development programs and the role Queensland continues to play in shaping Australia’s basketball future.
It’s not just the players making an impact. Several Queensland coaches are also front and centre this season:
