Basketball Queensland is excited to announce that registrations are now open for the 2026 Next Gen 12s Program, providing young athletes with an opportunity to continue developing their skills and take their next step in the Basketball Queensland athlete development pathway.

Designed as the first stage of Basketball Queensland’s athlete development pathway, the Next Gen 12s Program gives representative athletes the opportunity to develop their skills, build strong training habits and experience the BQ style of play.

The program is focused on providing athletes with quality development opportunities while helping them build the foundations needed for their continued growth both on and off the court.

What’s Included?

The Next Gen 12s Pass provides athletes with access to a range of development opportunities throughout the program, including:

• 🏀 Unlimited Camps Across Queensland – Opportunities for athletes to attend Next Gen camps held across the state.
• 🔥 Hub Sessions – Targeted development sessions designed to support athletes throughout their Next Gen journey.
• 📚 Parent Education Presentation – Providing parents and families with valuable information to support their athlete's development.
• 💻 Online Athlete Development Workshops – Additional learning opportunities designed to complement on-court development.

With camps and sessions taking place across Queensland, there are plenty of opportunities for athletes to get involved, learn from experienced coaches and continue developing their game.
