Basketball Queensland has entered a partnership with The Pass, the rewards app from Australian Venue Co. From 1 November 2026, registered BQ members can receive 10% off food and drink at participating venues across Queensland.

From that date, registered Basketball Queensland members can receive 10% off fully priced food and beverage at Queensland venues on The Pass. The discount doesn't apply to bottle shop purchases or function sales. Members also receive a $10 credit to spend at The Pass venues when they sign up to the app.

How to access the offer:

To join the Basketball Queensland membership list and receive your exclusive discount:

1. Download The Pass from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Sign up and add your preferred payment method.
3. Head to More > Promo Code, and enter ‘BQ’ followed by your membership number, e.g. BQ123456.
4. Order using The Pass to receive 10% off all Queensland venues.

Finding your membership number:

Members can find their membership number in the Basketball Connect app. Go to More > My Profile > My Full Profile, and the number is underneath your name. Members under 18 should have a parent or guardian help with sign-up.

All existing BQ members will also receive an email with their unique code. If you have any issues redeeming your code, please contact Basketball QLD at marketing@basketballqld.net.au. 

The Pass has more than 100 venues in Queensland, including venues in BQ's key hubs from Cairns to the Gold Coast. Members can use the Venue Finder in the app or at thepassapp.com.au to find the closest one to their home, club or tournament location.

Basketball Queensland hosts 10 major tournaments across the state each year, each with 500+ athletes plus families and supporters. Teams travelling to these events can use The Pass to find nearby venues.
