Kimberley Hibbert joins us with a remarkable background in strategic and operational business management across a number of sectors. Her diverse skill set, and extensive knowledge make her the perfect fit for the BQ team.
“I like to say I know a little bit about a lot of things, but I’m not an expert in anything – it means I can effectively lead the diverse functionality of the BQ business team in supporting the amazing sport of basketball in Queensland,” said Hibbert.
Kimberley's focus is clear – to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our operations while maximizing the use of resources. Her vision is to expand basketball in Queensland while showcasing BQ’s leadership in sports administration nationwide.
Her journey from various fields into general management roles demonstrates her adaptability and commitment to driving success.
With a wealth of experience in both grassroots sports and leadership roles, Todd Flahey is a dynamic addition to the BQ team.
Having worked closely with all areas of BQ during his tenure at Logan Metro as the Venue & Operations Manager; Todd deeply understands the organisation’s processes and culture.
His rugby league background and experience as a player, official, coach, volunteer, and administrator equip him with a unique perspective.
“Having worked in grassroots sport, I understand the issues that associations face daily. I believe that having a proactive approach, working with, and communicating effectively is how we move forward,” said Flahey.
His ability to collaborate and communicate will undoubtedly contribute to the sport's success in the State.
BQ Chief Executive Officer, Joshua Pascoe is excited for Kimberly and Todd to get settled in and having their impact on the game.
“With the exponential growth of basketball over the last four years it has become necessary to ensure that basketball in Queensland is resourced appropriately to achieve our strategic goals for 2025 and beyond.”
“In Kim and Todd we have found two fantastic operators who will ensure that our sport can continue to go from strength to strength,” said Pascoe.
