Basketball Queensland is now accepting applications for Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Development Coach roles for the 2026 Queensland Ivor Burge Program.

The Ivor Burge program is the national performance competition for athletes with an intellectual impairment and runs alongside the Under 20 National Championships. These teams play a key role in providing high-level representative opportunities in an inclusive and competitive environment.

Coaching staff will be required to lead trials and training sessions from September 2025 through to January 2026, ahead of the national tournament.

• Nationals: 27 January – 1 February 2026
• Applications Close: 29 August 2025

This is a chance to support inclusive basketball at the highest level and be part of Queensland’s representative pathway.
