Basketball Queensland is proud to announce a renewed partnership with Molten, extending the relationship through to the end of 2031.

Molten, distributed in Australia by Madison Sport, will continue as the Official Basketball of Basketball Queensland in a partnership that has now spanned more than a decade. The extension reflects the strength of the long-standing relationship between the two organisations and a shared commitment to growing the game across Queensland.

“We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with Molten for another five years,” said Basketball Queensland CEO, Joshua Pascoe.

“They’ve been an incredibly supportive partner of our competitions and programs, and this renewed agreement gives us confidence as we continue to grow the game at every level, from grassroots to elite.”

The new agreement will carry the partnership through to 2031, with continued support across key events, pathways, and participation initiatives.

“Molten has supported us through a period of huge growth in Queensland basketball, and this extension recognises the value of that stability,” said BQ’s Commercial and Marketing Manager, Lachlan Nuttall.

“We’re excited about where we can take the partnership over the next five years, not just with events, but also in the way we engage players, associations, and the wider basketball community.”

Molten and Madison Sport have been official partners of Basketball Queensland since 2019. In that time, they have supported the growth of statewide competitions including QSL, CBSQ, and BQJBC, while also enabling new initiatives such as iCan, and the First Nations Championships.

“Molten is thrilled to continue our longstanding partnership with Basketball Queensland.  We’re excited by the depth of talent in the state and by the growth of participation in our game, particularly in the leadup to Brisbane 2032,” said Madison Sport’s Executive Director, Richard Morrison. 

Basketball Queensland looks forward to continuing to work closely with Molten to promote the game, support its athletes, and provide high-quality equipment to every corner of the state.
