Basketball Queensland Opens Round 3 of Facilities Project Accelerator Fund

Basketball Queensland has officially opened Round 3 of the Facilities Project Accelerator Fund (FPAF), providing Queensland basketball associations with another opportunity to access support to help progress their facility ambitions.

Applications are open from 16 February to 16 March, with eligible Queensland associations able to apply for up to $15,000 in funding. This round is designed to support the planning and advocacy work that helps move facility projects forward. This may include developing concept designs, undertaking feasibility studies, or strengthening the case for future investment.

The Facilities Project Accelerator Fund continues to play an important role in helping associations take meaningful steps toward improved facilities for their communities. By supporting early-stage planning and project development, the fund helps build stronger, more sustainable infrastructure for basketball across Queensland.

Basketball Queensland has already contributed $300,000 to associations across Rounds 1 and 2 combined, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting the long-term growth and development of facilities statewide.

Basketball Queensland also congratulates the successful applicants from Rounds 1 and 2, whose projects are already helping shape the future of facilities within the basketball community. Previous recipients are encouraged to apply again in Round 3 to continue building on their progress.

Eligible Queensland associations can submit their application via the BQ FPAF Application Form.
