Basketball Queensland is pleased to announce that team nominations are now open for the 2025 Queensland Junior Club Championships (QJCC).

Affiliated clubs are invited to submit nominations for Girls and Boys teams across the following age groups: Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18.

Key Details

• Nominations Close: 5:00 PM, Monday 6 October 2025
• Championship Dates: Saturday 13 December – Monday 15 December 2025
• Venues: Logan Basketball (Cornubia) & Southern Districts Basketball Association (Carina). A third venue will be confirmed shortly.
• Nomination Fee: $650.00 (inc. GST) per team – invoices issued following the close of nominations.

Player Eligibility

To be eligible, players must be under the designated age as of 31 December 2025:

• Under 12: Under the age of 12
• Under 14: Under the age of 14
• Under 16: Under the age of 16
• Under 18: Under the age of 18

Player Points System

Teams are required to follow the 2025 QJCC Rules regarding the player points system. Clubs must complete the official Player Points Spreadsheet to ensure correct division placement.

Divisional Structure

The number of divisions per age group and gender will be determined based on nomination volume and player points. Each division will consist of 4, 6, 8, or 10 teams.
Where numbers do not fit evenly within these structures, some clubs may be asked to move teams into different divisions.
